BEAUTY ESSENTIAL

For the past year I have been downsizing my beauty collection to only a handful of basics, because 1. I prefer to invest in clothes and 2. I have also become more interested in skincare products rather than make up products. But I do want to show you one of my favourite makeup pieces; the only eyeshadow palette I own and the only palette I will ever own, the Chanel 226- TISSÉ RIVOLI. 

I purchased this mini but mighty palette on my way to Amsterdam last year and it is still serving as my everyday eye saviour. I have not hit pan yet and I have been using it religiously to contour my eyes for an everyday smokey look. The size of the palette makes it makeup bag friendly and the mirror is also a good size to use as a compact. 

There are 13 palettes in the collection and each comes in a different array of colours. I went for the most neutral palette as I am not one to experiment with my makeup, but there's definitely a palette to suit every taste.

I am planning to keep using this palette until it has completely finished and then I might be brave and try one of the other palettes from the collection. So, if you are thinking about narrowing down your makeup collection, I recommend this Chanel palette because I think it is going to last me a lifetime.
